submissions

1
denoting relies on submissions to operate, so if you are interested in this project please consider sharing something with us

2
this site focuses on byproducts and things left by the wayside that otherwise wouldn’t be seen beyond their current state. therefore we do not ask for any unique works or extra work from any contributor besides the image(s)/text(s) of their choice

3
submissions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. denoting reserves the right to decline new submissions or remove previously accepted submissions.  content including hate speech or stolen material is not permitted

4
denoting accepts a broad variety of outputs, provided they can fit into a .jpg, .gif, or .png file

for example -
  • paper scraps
  • to do lists
  • unused collage pieces
  • scribbled out ideas
  • poetry drafts
  • indecipherable 4am phone notes
  • photographs
  • miscellaneous assemblage elements

5
due to the digicollage format, submissions with transparent backgrounds and interesting shapes are especially welcomed. some submissions may be altered before publishing for better integration, eg. removing simple backgrounds. this can be discussed via email before publishing.

6
we are open to experimenting with other formats such as sound and video - if you have something you think would be suitable then get in touch

7
the contributor list is optional.  if you do not want to be identified, feel free to write anonymous, N/A, or a nickname in the form
